Cozy atmosphere, good service and warmth :) Was easy enough to catch up with my friends over beers and Fries! Really crowded even weekdays. So many people and you can bring a baby car they are friendly.

Not your average bar food- their menu is awesome! Bahn mi sandwich, mussels, pork chop... I was impressed! Every table next to us had a pretzel on their table, so naturally we ordered one too. Yum! The weird drawback here is there aren't servers. You order and pay your tab at the bar. We had a group which was hard to do - we nominated one person to place the order (and naturally that was annoying for questions like "what side?" And "how do you want your burger done!"). Same with paying the bill- I'm still waiting on a friends friend to Venmo me because we didn't tally everything up "when the bill came". It was more like "we'll figure this all out later". Also in regards to groups, prepare to wait. There's no reservations and no hostess to put your name down. You're just... waiting... The food was phenomenal. It was probably one of my top three favorite Caesar salads!

Great burgers were had by my dining partner & myself. The rest of the food looked yummy too. Casual atmosphere, extensive bar available. You go up to the kitchen window and order and the same with the bar. So no waiters or waitresses coming to your table except staff to bring you your food. Space for seating is not extensive, so I would recommend eating early, like 5:30 or so for dinner.

Enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich - the right amount of crunch for the toast! You have to place your food orders at the kitchen and your drink orders at the bar. A little confusing to start a tab and place a food order if you are unaware of this before ordering

I am so freaking lucky to live half a block from this place and it's honestly a travesty that I don't frequent it more often. This is your quintessential neighborhood bar with GREAT food (and as a long time patron/cult member/adopted daughter of the Dutch House in Fair Lawn, NJ I *know* a great neighborhood bar with great food!) The burgers are top 5 in NYC easy, which is saying a lot when you consider that Gnarly Eats and Dram Shop alone are within a ten block radius. The French fries are also awesome - salty, skinny, and the perfect amount of crispy. In case my superlatives hadn't convinced you, this is the meal I chose when Dad was paying, the night before colorectal surgery (TMI?) Seriously, it's a great burger and fries. They have a great beer selection, solid wines in cans (maybe the one thing I would change if pressed) and bartenders who make EXCELLENT cocktails - dirty martinis in particular. The staff, from the bartenders to the folks taking orders and cooking at the food window are all incredibly nice and super speedy. They make it a point to recognize locals and regulars and it always makes me feel great, even though I don't come in as often as I should. Thanks for being you, Double Windsor!

- friendly bar service - great fried chicken sandwich - fried cheese curds were a different take on mozzarella sticks - i liked the sriricha chicken wings the accompanying sauce was the perfect complement - typical bar experience - overwhelming beer selection

Been here a few times and have always enjoyed it and the down to earth vibe. Local bar w some communal seating. Ordered the burger w cheese and a salad. Food was awesome. Crisp clean salad. Burger was cooked perfect and delicious. You order your food at the kitchen counter and then drinks at the bar. I kind of like that style as it reminds me of England Pubs and also gives me the pleasure of leaving when I am done without having to wait on a server. Only nit is the wine in a can. I get it - it's a pub so more about the beers but I haven't been able to get down with the wine taste out of a can yet. I'll keep trying though... Staff is always friendly. This is a repeat spot and highly recommended.
